 Rex grew up in a small northwestern Missouri town. These roots can be found in his lyrics and songs that he writes. With his brother, Benny, they created Exit 13 Band. It began as a family garage band and has grown to play in the surrounding Kansas City area and Oklahoma.  Rex was         

accepted to play the 20th Anniversary of the Woody Guthrie Festival in   Okemah Ok., a song writers festival.  Rex also performs solo playing his       original music.                                                                                                     

Benny has taught himself to play many instruments, drums, guitar, bass and harmonica. He is also a vocalist.  He has performed with Exit 13 in numerous shows. He can fill in on any insturment in the band.  Brothers, Rex and Benny maintain a family link to the band in their songs and work. 

Kyle's guitar playing ignites the dynamics of the bands original songs. He captivates the emotions of the lyrics and rhythm, establishing the mood of the song. Kyle is also a multi-instrumentalist which can be heard on Exit 13  recordings. Kyle consistently gets accolades for his outstanding lead        playing.                                                                                                        

 Originally from Conneticut, Jim is the newest member to the band. HIs drumming abilities create the drive and beat of the Exit 13 songs.  Jim     grew up playing drums with his family members. You may catch him        playing his "suitcase" drum set at a show.  He was raised in a very          musical atmosphere.
